Row 1 :
- sc in the 2nd st from the hook, dc in the same st, repeat until 2 sts .
- In the last 2 sts : skip one, sc in the last st
Row 2 :
- Ch 1, turn ( not a sc). *(sc, dc) in the next st , skip 1 st*, Repeat .
- In the last 2 sts : skip one, sc in the last one
Repeat 2nd row until you get the size you want.
For visual learners here is a video by Bella Coco that explains well the stitch :
Quick note :
If you want to use this stitch in other projects where you may have increases and decreases :
To increase the suzette stitch, you should make two sts in the very last st instead of one or two more sts ( so an extra suzette st)
Decreasing is a little trickier because you have to work 2 sc together to decrease by one st each time.
