CROCHET SKIRT FOR ANY SIZE – BEGINNER PATTERN
1. MEASUREMENTS
• I made this very easy crochet skirt for my 1 year old daughter, but you can make it for any size you want and here is how :
* take the measurements of the waste, multiplie it per 2, the result that you get is the number of stitches in your foundation chain, Example : the waste of my daughter was about 45cm × 2 =90 ch.

2. YOU WILL NEED
• 3 skeins of rainbow thick black yarn that could be worked with 6,5mm.
• H or 6 mm hook
• Meter
• Markers
• Yarn needle, pair of scissors,
3. STITCHES
• DC = DOUBLE CROCHET
• SC = SINGLE CROCHET
4. PATTERN
• Row 1 : Ch 90 (or the number founded in the measurement part), ch 3 more ( counted as a dc), then continue your row with 89 dc
• Row 2 : ch3, 1 dc in every next st until the end of the row (89)
• Continue with the same method until you get the height that you want, for my daughter’s skirt it was about xx cm.
Now for the plies :
• * Count 5 sts from the left of the Iast row you did, yarn over and insert the hook in 6th st then count 4 and insert again the hook in the 5th st from the hook and again in the st beside. You will have 3 sts on your hook, work a dc into those 3 (this will make a litlle plie)
insert the hook through the 3 sts in the same like shoxn in the picture and work another dc.do the same for the 3 next sts also *.
Repear from * to * as needed (depending on the width of your skirt) for me it was about 7 plies.
• End your row with dc, ch 3, turn.
• Work 2 more dc rows, Fasten off.
• Fix the button as shown in the picture.
And your skirt is ready !
